Hi, this is Justin Colletti from Sonic Scoop and Joe Lambert Mastering, and today, I want to tell you all about our latest course, Mastering Demystified.

Ever since I released the Mixing Breakthroughs course, I’ve gotten more requests for a course on mastering than I can keep track of. And it’s no surprise, because mastering is probably still the most mysterious part of the process to most people involved in music production, but through this course, you’re going to learn that how mastering is surprisingly, almost deceptively simple.

If you’ve been doing any recording or mixing so far, so many of the tools and basic techniques that we use in mastering are going to be familiar to you, but we’re using some of these tools and techniques in entirely new ways with an entirely new focus.

This course is great for everyone. Not just great for those who want to try mastering their own tracks, but even more importantly, for those who want to master tracks for others at a professional level.

And for those of you who want to work with a mastering engineer, and really get a sense for what you’re going to take out of the process, what you’re going to get out of the process, and how to speak to your mastering engineer so you’ll get the results that you want.

From EQ, to compression, to limiting, to stereo widening and beyond, we’ll look at some of the best tools and best techniques for getting the most out of your masters, whether you’re mastering your own tracks, mastering tracks for professional clients, or working with a mastering engineer for the first time. I think you’re really going to enjoy this course. I’ll see you on the other side.
