Hey, guys. Matt here. This is Mixthru Hip Hop number One. The song is City Lights, and it’s by P.T. Starks, and if that name sounds familiar to you, well, that’s because if you have the very first Mixing Hip Hop tutorial that I put out years ago, it’s featuring a song that he did.

Well, we’re at it again. Here we are years later, and now, I’m showing you another walkthrough. This time, we’re going to be focusing on the newest techniques that I’ve been using. It’s going to be absolutely awesome. The results are really cool. The music is really cool. The whole project is great. I hope you guys check it out.

In fact, there’s some really cool sponsorship that’s been in the works for it as well! So hopefully you’ll be seeing bigger things for PT.

Anyways, some of the stuff that we’re going to be talking about in this Mixthrus are going to be things like 808s. Everybody’s favorite. Drums, of course. Snares, hi-hats, all of that good stuff. Drops, effects, and one time events. That’s going to be a big focus at the end.

We’re going to do some mastering, we’re going to do a lot of really cool vocal treatment – there’s just a lot of great stuff in this. It’s a quick walkthrough. It’s only about an hour and a half long, and you’re going to learn a whole lot.
