Quiztones Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how The Pro Audio Files LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with Quiztones, including the Quiztones iOS app, Quiztones Mac app, Quiztones website, support pages, and related services (collectively, "Quiztones" or the "Service").

Quiztones is designed to minimize data collection. Quiztones does not require a separate user account, and user-facing app data such as quiz progress, imported audio, and app settings is stored locally on your device unless handled separately by Apple, your device, your operating system, backups, analytics services, crash reporting tools, or other third-party systems under their own settings and policies.

By using Quiztones, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use Quiztones.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 No Quiztones Account Required

Quiztones does not require you to create a separate Quiztones account. We do not collect a username, password, profile, account login, or similar account information for Quiztones.

2.2 Local App Data

Quiztones may store app data locally on your device, such as:

• Quiz progress, scores, or history.
• App settings and preferences.
• Downloaded or cached app content needed for app functionality.
• Imported audio references or files used within the App.

We do not store this local app data on our external servers. If you delete Quiztones, change devices, disable backups, change Apple IDs, reset your device, or modify device storage settings, local app data may be lost or unavailable.

2.3 Imported Audio

Quiztones may allow you to import or access certain audio files from your device, music library, or supported local file sources for personal training inside the App. Imported audio is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers or sent by us to third-party audio processing services.

Due to Apple restrictions and third-party rights management, Quiztones may not be able to access DRM-protected files, including songs from the Apple Music streaming service.

2.4 Purchases and Subscription Information

Quiztones purchases, subscriptions, trials, renewals, cancellations, billing issues, and refund requests are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details, full Apple ID credentials, or billing address.

Depending on the platform, app version, and Apple systems, Quiztones may access or receive limited purchase and entitlement information needed to unlock paid features, validate subscription status, restore purchases, or support App Store functionality. This may include information such as product identifiers, subscription status, transaction or receipt information, renewal state, trial or offer status, and similar App Store purchase metadata.

Apple controls App Store billing, refund decisions, trial eligibility, subscription management, Apple ID systems, and related App Store functionality.

2.5 Usage Data

We may collect pseudonymous usage data to understand how Quiztones is used and to improve the product experience. This may include:

• App opens and session activity.
• Screen views and navigation patterns.
• Feature usage and engagement events.
• Subscription funnel events, such as viewing a paywall or starting a purchase flow.
• General app performance and reliability information.
• App version, device model, operating system version, language, region, and similar technical details.
• Coarse location information, such as city, region, or country, which may be inferred from IP address or network information by analytics providers.

We do not use this usage data to directly identify you by name. We do not intentionally send your imported audio files, personal music files, or detailed local quiz history to analytics services.

2.6 Diagnostics and Crash Data

We may collect diagnostics and crash data to identify bugs, improve stability, and troubleshoot technical issues. This may include:

• Crash logs and stack traces.
• Device model and operating system version.
• App version and build information.
• Performance metrics and error logs.
• Technical identifiers used for diagnostics, reliability, or debugging.

Crash logs and diagnostics may sometimes include limited contextual technical information about what occurred before a crash. We do not intentionally collect imported audio files through crash reporting.

2.7 Support Communications

If you contact us for support, we may collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, device details, app version, operating system version, purchase context, screenshots, support messages, and any other information you include in your request.

We use support information to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, improve Quiztones, and maintain records of support interactions.

2.8 Website, Cookies, Pixels, and Advertising Measurement

The Quiztones website and related support or marketing pages may use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, and similar technologies for analytics, ad measurement, conversion tracking, fraud prevention, performance measurement, and improving our website.

Website technologies may collect information such as:

• IP address and approximate location.
• Browser type, device type, operating system, and referring page.
• Pages viewed, buttons clicked, time on page, and similar website interaction data.
• Advertising or campaign information, such as ad clicks, landing pages, and conversion events.

Website pixels and advertising technologies may be operated by third parties such as Google, Meta, Snap, or similar providers. 3. App Privacy Summary

Quiztones is designed so the app does not collect personal account information and does not upload your imported audio to our servers. The app may collect or process limited data categories such as:

• Purchases – limited App Store purchase, subscription, trial, offer, or entitlement information needed to provide paid access and restore purchases.
• Usage Data – pseudonymous app activity, feature usage, engagement, performance, and general product analytics.
• Diagnostics – crash reports, device information, app version, error logs, and technical diagnostics.

We do not use the Quiztones app to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies, and Quiztones does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission or use IDFA for app advertising tracking.

4. How We Use Information

We use information described in this Privacy Policy to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve Quiztones.
• Provide app features, paid access, subscriptions, purchase restoration, and entitlement checks.
• Store app data locally on your device.
• Process imported audio locally on your device for training purposes.
• Monitor usage, engagement, retention, onboarding, and feature performance.
• Diagnose crashes, bugs, performance issues, and technical problems.
• Respond to support requests and customer communications.
• Analyze website performance, ad attribution, and marketing effectiveness.
• Protect Quiztones, users, our systems, and our legal rights.
• Comply with legal obligations, App Store requirements, and platform rules.

We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense. We do not use imported audio to build advertising profiles, and we do not upload imported audio to our servers.

5. Third-Party Services

Quiztones and related websites may use third-party services to provide app functionality, analytics, diagnostics, billing, distribution, support, website measurement, or advertising measurement. These may include:

• Apple App Store and related Apple services – app distribution, purchases, subscriptions, trials, billing, refunds, entitlement management, purchase restoration, device services, and related platform functionality.
• Mixpanel – product analytics and usage event data to help us understand how Quiztones is used and improve the App.
• Firebase Crashlytics – crash reports, diagnostics, and technical stability data.
• Google Analytics – app or website analytics, measurement, and usage reporting.
• Google Ads / Google marketing technologies – website advertising measurement, attribution, and conversion tracking where applicable.
• Meta Pixel – website advertising measurement, attribution, and conversion tracking where applicable.
• Snap Pixel – website advertising measurement, attribution, and conversion tracking where applicable.

These providers have their own privacy policies and data-handling practices, which govern their use of information they collect or receive. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

6. How We Share Information

We may share or make information available in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers and vendors. We may use third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, hosting, support, website measurement, ad attribution, and related business operations.
• Apple and App Store functionality. App Store purchases, subscriptions, refunds, trials, and entitlements are handled through Apple.
• Legal compliance and protection. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, users, or the Service.
• Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, financing, reorganization, or similar business transaction involving The Pro Audio Files LLC or Quiztones.
• With your direction or consent. We may share information when you ask us to do so or when you provide consent.

We do not sell imported audio, support messages, or Quiztones app account profiles because Quiztones does not maintain separate user account profiles.

Some privacy laws may define certain website advertising or analytics practices as "sharing" or "selling" personal information, even where no money is exchanged. To the extent our website pixels or advertising technologies are considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law, you may have rights to opt out as described below.

7. Data Retention

We do not store imported audio, personal music files, local quiz progress, or local app settings on our external servers.

Local app data remains on your device unless deleted by you, removed by the operating system, affected by device storage settings, or handled through Apple/device backup systems according to your settings.

Analytics, purchase metadata, diagnostics, crash logs, website measurement data, and support communications are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including operating Quiztones, improving the product, maintaining business records, resolving support issues, complying with legal obligations, and protecting our rights.

Third-party providers may retain data according to their own policies and our configuration choices.

8. Your Choices

8.1 App Data

You can delete Quiztones from your device to remove locally stored app data from that device, subject to Apple, iCloud, device backup, or operating system behavior.

8.2 Subscriptions and Purchases

You can manage or cancel Quiztones subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting Quiztones does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.

8.3 Website Cookies and Advertising Technologies

You can manage cookies and website tracking technologies through your browser settings, device settings, privacy tools, ad settings, cookie controls, or third-party opt-out tools where available. Blocking cookies or pixels may affect website functionality or measurement.

8.4 Email Support

If you contact support, you can request deletion of support communications where applicable by contacting us at support@theproaudiofiles.com. We may retain certain information where necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, business recordkeeping, or dispute-resolution purposes.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain privacy rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to:

• Request that we limit or restrict certain processing where applicable.

Because Quiztones does not require user accounts and does not directly identify most app users by name, we may not be able to locate, access, or delete app analytics or diagnostics tied only to pseudonymous device or analytics identifiers unless you provide enough information for us to reasonably identify the relevant records.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights where prohibited by law.

10. Children's Privacy

Quiztones is not specifically directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@theproaudiofiles.com so we can take appropriate action.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to help protect information processed through Quiztones. However, no method of transmission, processing, or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International Users

Quiztones is operated from the United States. If you use Quiztones from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where we or our third-party service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws different from those in your country of residence.

13. Links to Third-Party Websites

Quiztones websites, support materials, or app interfaces may link to third-party websites or services, including Apple, payment, refund, support, social media, or educational resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party websites or services.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of Quiztones after an updated Privacy Policy is posted or otherwise made available means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to an updated Privacy Policy, you should stop using Quiztones.
