Below is a questionable inclusion to this list. I know this song is wayyyy old news. Katy Perry explains the concept, and also succeeds in being generally very annoying. I like the quote at the beginning: “Hi Snoop, I’m Max Martin, nice to meet you.”

Okay, so I drum and program beats, so naturally I had to include this video.. err… 2 videos. This is David “Fingers” Haynes. Not only is this dude playing an Alesis HR-16, he’s also killin it with pocket grooves & sick licks. #FunFact: his dad’s name is Roland!

Every producer should know Scott Storch. His credits & accomplishments range from playing keyboards for The Roots to helping write the famous Dr. Dre track “Still D.R.E.”
